The KESA Graduation Rate is based on the 5 most recent *yearly graduation rates.

Calculated by taking the total number of graduates from the 5 most recent graduating classes and dividing by the total number of students in the 4-year adjusted cohort in each of those classes.
    Ex. – District A KESA Graduation rate Calculation
      Graduating classes of 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025
      Total number of graduates – 485
      Total number in 4-year cohorts – 500
      District A KESA Graduation rate (2021 – 2025): 485 / 500 = 97%

The KESA Graduation Rate of Change is the difference between the most recent KESA Graduation Rate and the previous year’s KESA Graduation Rate.

Calculated by subtracting the most recent KESA Graduation Rate with the KESA Graduation Rate from the previous year.
